Planning an event for 2023? Now is the time to book your portable toilets

It’s a new year, and naturally our minds turn to planning for the year ahead and making sure the to-do list doesn’t start creeping up on us, and with 2022 showing a solid step in the right direction of post-covid life, it’s likely that in 2023, events are going to be back and better than ever. If you’re behind the event wheel, you’re in the right place to find and book the perfect portable toilet that matches the theme of your event.

Now, we’ll admit that we’re all pretty excited about the events industry picking up again, which is why we’re on a mission to make sure that every event has an adequate amount of toilets and supplies so that there are no long queues for the loo and no shortage of toilet roll for your… you get the idea.

So with that said, we’re providing you with a portable toilet checklist to make sure you’ve considered all the plan b’s and plan c’s for your event.

  • The British weather – The good old British weather hey, you can’t beat it! And whilst us brits aren’t scared of a bit of rain, that’s not to say you shouldn’t consider weatherproofing the portable toilet area of your outdoor event, just to keep those muddy boots from making a mess. Putting down a suitable flooring / track system in and around the toilet area is a practical way to help with any wet weather, so when nature calls, you’ve still got some dignity.
  • Booziness – With so many cancelled and postponed events in the last few years, many event goers will be keen to relax and have fun with a drink or two, and it’s always worth noting that as a rule of thumb, events with alcohol generally require more portable toilets than those without, so be sure to take this into account when booking your toilets to avoid any toilet disasters.
  • Stock up on hand sanitizer – Whilst most of us are pleased to have the majority of the covid restrictions behind us, it  goes to say that we’re a lot more mindful these days of keeping our hands clean. Hand sanitiser is an effective way of keeping everyone’s hands clean, minds at ease and to save on unnecessary water usage.
  • Make sure that portable toilets are accessible for all – This may be the last point, but it’s certainly not the least. Events are for everyone and anyone to enjoy, disability or not. With a wider entrance and additional space inside, disabled portable toilets ensure that your event or function is accessible to everyone, so make sure to account for disabled portable toilets in your final toilet count.

Don’t leave your 2023 event to chance, get booking your portable toilets today before they get blocked up so you can get planning and organising your event without the looming toilet anxiety.
